Because of course Al Roker flashes 70-grade DADLAP.
On Wednesday morning, Mike Ferrin and Jordan Greenberg of MLB Network Radio asked us if DADHAT and DADLAP ever existed on the same baseball card. We did some research and found that the appearance of both is very rare — because most cards that feature both DADAREAs are action shots, and that action often obscures said areas — but were thrilled to find that DADHAT and DADLAP do in fact exist on the same card, thanks to Fleer and Lenn Sakata.
When the Baseball Interwebs™ implode after the announcement of the Hall Of Fame voting this afternoon, we hope that you’ll find solace by gazing upon Sakata’s elite-level DADNESS and listening to this as you shed a single tear … of joy.
It’s gonna be OK, you guys.

Late 70s-era 80 Grade DADLAP from Sixto Lezcano.
FUN FACT: While with the Milwaukee Brewers, he became the only player in Major League Baseball history to hit a grand slam on Opening Day twice, doing so in both 1978 and 1980.
