Welcome.

This is Productive Outs, a place for Riley and Ian to talk about baseball. The only rule is that we don’t discuss 2002. 

Riley played college ball and is a lifelong Angels fan. Ian gave up a promising high school baseball career to pursue drugs full time. Later down the road he got his shit together, moved to the Bay Area, and became a Giants fan. Riley plays drums in Thrice and has no patience for unwritten rules and conventional wisdom. Ian plays bass in Kowloon Walled City and is a scouting and sabermetric dilettante.
