So that happened. 

I spent the last three nights across town at the Oakland Coliseum as a credentialed media member, covering the Tigers-Athletics ALDS series. It’s gonna take me a little while to process everything that happened, but I’m hoping to write something that will attempt to convey what it was like. I’m not hopeful that I’ll succeed, but I’ll do it anyway. 

Here’s a final photo from the series: the plastic sheeting that had covered the A’s lockers in the event that they won. When Detroit prevailed, the sheeting was hastily removed and stashed in the batting cage. It was an incredible run, and it was my great joy and privilege to be a small part of it.
