My token Orioles-fan friend Peter (site might not be safe for work, has boobs and stuff!) sent along this picture from last night’s Orioles-Red Sox affair. The look on Matt Wieters’ face is priceless. It’s almost as though he KNEW the O’s would prevail in 17 and that Chris Davis would be the winning pitcher.

I Was Told There Would Be No Math Involved

They’ve since fixed it, but this article on Matt Wieters in the Baltimore Sun briefly contained the following sentences:

Wieters threw out two runners Sunday and has caught 14 of 28 would-be base stealers this season. Only the Nationals’ Wilson Ramos (seven of 14) and the Oakland Athletics’ Kurt Suzuki (18 of 36) have a better percentage.
